That's friggin' impressive! He pulled that whole thing off without ever getting straight. I could only do that in snow, where speeds are much lower. Props to the driver :-)

@thugathugacation LOL!!!... this "gay V8" wins multiple XDC championships, as well as Gittin Jr's V8 Mustang winning multiple Formula D championships. Call them what you want, but there's no denying that V8 powered Domestics kick butt not only on the expected drag strips, but road courses and drifting circuits as well.

This may seem confusing but Horsepower is how much Power an engine can generate, and torque is how many foot pounds of force an engine can generate at the crank. Typically you want the bulk of your torque up at higher RPM's but not too high otherwise you'll reach the rev limit of your engine before you can even make use of the torque. But the best scenario is a long powerful torque curve starting low and ending high.

Yes the more horsepower an engine generates then the more torque that engine will generate but not all engines produce torque at equal levels. Horsepower is tricky to define but torque is is the tendency of a force to rotate an object about an axis. Basically it means how much force is generated at the crank. Horsepower can roughly be described as how much power it takes to turn your crank at Various RPM's.
