  • @thuganomics84 Dear Mr.Andronicus, (thug), Thanks for your message. . Were you able to reflect on the suggestion that the cars and their movements are metaphorical and allegorical-representative in the movie? . You might like "The Boys" (1998) ... with Toni Collette. see video trailer, below this private message. , . Cheers. from, del-boy.
  • @HhappyBirthday Dear Derek. Thank u for pointing out my spelling and literate errors. I am very stupid and will punish myself, for this travesty. Thanks for clearing that up.

    Yours Sincerely

    Mr Anomics

  • @thuganomics84 Dear thug., Neither it is the same as wanting to return to the mother's womb and to scoop out the contents, siblings, destroying them. . Much like that; metaphorical. . . Cheers. from, del-boy. . p.s. are you aware of your improper syntact and spelling errors?
  • i dont really get what the cars have to do with it? does anyone know?

  • @TW458 He got one of the best lines, at the funeral... 'Oh gosh, lord... sometimes you work in ways that are totally incomprehensible'. He's brilliant. This is my favourite ever film.

  • John Mellion= Australian Treasure, brilliant actor sadly missed!

  • Obviously the smartest thing to do if a car laden with spikes all around is charging towards you is to just stand there and leap onto it :-p

  • @thuganomics84 ... it's a satire about a war between generational cults. The young are maniacal and terrorise the old of the town in modified cars while the old are conducting horrific experiments on the young usually through lobotomies. But both extremes are too self destructive to survive which ends in ultimate madness and bloodshed. An interesting movie of the day from the director who went on to do other interesting stuff such as The Last Wave, Witness, Fearless and The Truman Show.

  • @bored1ca ... yep that's him, John Mellion = Aussie Legend

  • @dcanmore I also see John Meillon from the Crocodile Dundee movies in here as The Mayor
