Let's Play Obsidian, Episode 0: Introduction, history, lore, and other goodies

Feel free to skip this episode if you don't want to just hear me talking for seven minutes without showing off any actual gameplay footage. I just wanted to use an "Episode 0" to give a bit of background information on the game, as well as to explain some of the "lore" which the game shoves down your throat at the beginning. (It's interesting stuff, but you probably don't want to read pages of text.)

I always liked Myst-esque puzzle games, and adventure games like Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, etc... In fact, if I ever started LP-ing i'd do the John DeFoe quadrilogy (starting with 5 days a stranger) Those four games are well worth playing if you like adventure games and humor. I will also look into seeing if this game's on eBay.

@docsigma Yeah I'm going to a convention in March and cosplaying as John Defoe (The Butcher) in the mask and apron with a knife. I doubt many people will now who it is, but I'm a fan.
