Royal Gorge Tourist Train Ride

This is the start, leaving the station, of the Royal Gorge train tour in Canon City, CO. We paid extra to ride in the cab of this 1948 F-7, one of the first deisel models built. There is no where else that I'm aware of where a tourist is allowed to ride in the cab of a locomotive, and it was well worth the extra money we had to come up with to do it. Look for other videos of the same ride, taken from the cab of this same engine.
