did you use cabinet simulation? I use my v-amp2 with a peavey rage 158 (15w) but sounds very bad... :S

How'd you hook it up, I'm thinking of doing this instead of getting an amp? Nice playing and tone. 5 stars!

The settings are maxed gain, treble, mid, bass with no effect or reverb. It can also sound good with the bass turned down abit or even all the way depending on how loud our playing.

im not sure if i use cabinet simulation. But i found that the v-amp sounds crappy through regular guitar amps, that's why i run it through the monitors.
I cant blast it at loud volumes but it is enough for jamming by myself and recording.

Thanks Onyxaxe All you need is the v-amp2 ($99) then your choice of monitor speakers. I use the behringer ms-16's (about $50-70 USD)
Then hook the speakers up to the Vamp. Trust me, if i can do it, you can lol
This set up is great for recording or jamming at room volume. But dont expect to crank it at wall shaking volumes and get good tones.

i dont know what cab it is but i do know it is on the modern distortion.
Also both are presets 9, b and c. The only tweaking to them was macing out treb, dist, mids and turning all effects off.

thanks
it's the vamp2 hooked up to two behringer ms-16 studio monitors. Pretty cheap set up. Also nice and compact.
