  • avrage fps i get is 119fps with 2 5970`s on crossfire and my cpu overclocked at 4.21ghz

  • Id like to see a video of that at 1920x1200 cus trubritar with 4 5870 which is faster and his 975x at 4.6ghz only gets 103fps avg at 1680x1050 on avalanche

  • Nvidia does a lot of optimizations in their drivers for the benchmarking Demos.

I think using Fraps to record performance within a gameplay is the way to bench cards this days.

  • Ati are doing that right now in countless games, re5 for eg gets over 400fps i the first 20 secs then for the rest of the benchmark struggles to break 100fps the very high fps fot that first part skews the whole result, there are lots more examples i can give if you want. Gameplay isnt in anyway gonna give a comparison for people to compare against because it can never be the same twice all it takes is a glance at a tree, wall, floor or sky and it will throw the whole thing off.

  • Holy fucking shit, massive tearing.

  • Yea its really bad aint it, the only way to fix is to use vsync but thats caps your fps which is no good for a record run. I will be getting a high refresh rate monitor very soon with the nvidia 3d so that should stop it.

  • your a dick. its called onlive and will not be available in every country for a long time due to latency. It also wont replace console and PC gaming for a long time due to lack of games. People can also do what they want with their own money so ur the faggot

  • Anyways, we should be seeing Crysis run smooth on a mainstream PC in 2011.

  • gtx 285 or ATI 5870 or Crossfire 5850 2 cards

  • @R3APERvsTYETREE efaco5 is your answe.r look him up

  • I believe it would be much useful to show a real gameplay using fraps than to use this bench with this shitty track.

I appreciate your efforts put into this video, and i know that you're trying to show how great your rig is, but the data you're providing isn't useful.

Regarding the quality optimization, Nvidia has a much dirtier history than ATI when it comes to that. From using lower quality texture filtering techniques to using CS AA as default anti-aliasing and labeling Ms AA as Q AA.

  • RE5 is a console game.Aside form the game having a lot of rather low quality textures and lighting effects, It normally doesn't make use of half of a high end GPU, so it is normal for a high end card to achieve such performance if the compiling design in the drivers allow for better utilization of the gpu resources.

Or it could be another utilization via the drivers to get the gpu to process specific textures in the game in much lower quality resulting in high frame rates.

  • Listen, most people would realy like to see how a GPU performs in the game. This benchmarking track not only looks like shit, which it realy does, but also destroys the reputation of Crysis as the most visually beautiful game.
