Here's a very poor quality video (made by pointing webcam at TV) of me killing Vivec at lvl 1, no cheats used. It can be done.

Beware my awful voice, as I did a voice over.

  • before i say anything, i just started and am level 1... so i have some questions. how do i make it so i DO level up when i kill people, cuz i'm 18/10 to level 2, idk how the hell that happened and i'd like to change that. my other question is a stupid one but, when i kill people, do they come back? do i wait a freakin' long time or what? cuz i killed a couple of essential shop keepers that have been dead for like 5 hours (real time) which is nearly 2 weeks in game time

  • Leveling up doesn't necessarily come from killing enemies, you level up when you increase 10 of your major or minor skills, which can happen in or out of combat. Anyway, after you get 10/10 it should tell you you need to 'rest and meditate' . Find a bed, or just sleep out in the wilderness. Then you'll level up. You can't rest in town though.

Also, do people respawn when you kill them in real life? Don't try it, but no, and not in morrowind either. All named characters don't respawn (guards do)

  • LOL, i know they don't respond in real life. i'm pretty sure i didn't ask that either :o but anyway, so i basically screwed that shop? wich, in turn, screws me as well -.- kk ty for the info, i'll make sure not to train on people in towns anymore >.>

  • Don't really care if you asked that, i was making a comparison. But anyway, yeah, training on any named character at all is generally a bad plan (unless they attack you first) - a lot of characters are tied to quests and you would be ruining future possibilities for your character. Unless you just want to be generally evil and kill everybody, but you would be sacrificing a lot of your possibilities.

  • You idiots. He's only level one because he hadn't slept. Did you see his Heavy Armor? Eighty-fuckin-Three.

Still a good vid, but I bet you did the webcam on purpose so no one noticed.

    4/5

  • I've already told people how I did this, it's perfectly legit and not all that hard, but it has nothing to do with not sleeping. You can kind've see when i highlight my level that I've only had a few skill increases, wouldn't matter if I slept or not, I wouldn't be levelling up any time soon.

I hadn't practiced other skills either, but the video sucks, so you can only take my word for that. But I guarantee you my heavy armor isn't 83. And if it was, I don't see why I'd be wearing Chitin...

  • Lol, no its not, first of all oblivion is 1/3 the size of morrowind, second of all, morrowind is a classic, and oblivion is based on it, and third of all, oblivion kind of spoils you, which makes the game get boring faster. i never got bored of morrowind.

  • rofl go me oh yes, as you can see im still lvl 1, oh my that was stupid, death. i love youre voice its hilarious no offence i mean that in a good way.

  • "Craftily dodge his spells..."

  • @fortunadodesperado ya sounds like it boring put it be fun killing him

  • One of the best things to get is a stronghold. It is a place made just for you. You must join one of the main houses and you can find how to do the quest online. I did the Telvanni one but its kind of in the middle of nowhere.

  • @dylan2960 I killed him with my orc archer a few times. Vivic's spell hits for around 250 hps so you have to make sure you don't get hit by him at all. You basically run backwards while shooting him for a few minutes and then he dies. It is much less exciting then you might imagine lol

  • ya right your on level 1 i on level 28 and he a high elf and all of his stats is on level 100 major and mianer i kant beet him and you are on level 1 how is that possable i cast my summon all my monsters and use my greater fire ball and ice and thunder and poison all greater your good

  • @talitoXsparks Number one, They dont come back alive, And Number two you said you wanted to level up as your points are 18/10 You need to rest on a bed, then you level up, I hope this helps ^^

  • he sounds like meatwad at some parts

  • @Neggybranden im also on that part at level 26

  • you sound like a high pitched allen rickman
