This is an internal training video for the Portland Police Bureau.

It is intended to inform officers about the City of Portland's bicycle transportation policy and remind them about some of Oregon's bicycle related traffic laws.

  • Im like his hair do. Looks like he just woke up

  • Could they enforce the "no bikes on the sidewalk downtown" law as well as the "don't park non-EV cars in EV parking spots" while at the same time not THEMSELVES violating said laws? (Unless required in an emergency situation.)

I know it's "legal" for bike cops to ride on the sidewalks downtown, but unless they're actually on an emergency call, it just sets a *REALLY* bad example. (Don't get me started on the "Portland Guides" non-law-enforcement people riding on the sidewalks...)
