@1971SuperLead Or, you have no idea what you're talking about and have never actually touched a race bike in your life, thus making you an idiot. Judging by my grammar and etiquette, I'd say I'm no idiot.
@1971SuperLead From their Mother's apparently. I was obviously being sarcastic to an otherwise moronic post. Removing neutral from where it is now just because people shift into it on accident is like saying you should remove jumps because people crash on them. Hell, if there wasn't any jumps on the track, there wouldn't be a need for shifting, then you wouldn't have to change a thing! No, but seriously, it happens, it's obviously there for a reason.
@1971SuperLead Or how about just make them automatic? Then you don't have to worry about it! Then maybe you can make it ride for you so all you have to do is sit there! Then we can make robots that sit there for us so we can watch!
@2smokesnifer Did you read what I wrote? I'm saying to do away with neutral being selected by the shift lever. Make neutral a feature activated by a lever or button on the handlebars or something. How many people have lost a race because they hit neutral when they really wanted 1st or 2nd gear, or couldn't find neutral fast enough when trying to restart their bike?
My question is....Why is neutral still between 1st and 2nd gear? On a race bike, that makes no sense. Make neautral a separate lever, or maybe like a kill switch on the bars.
i just dream on a world in which james wont crash....he would be the greatest legend on motocross/supercross history! (hes getting near) i still watch hes races from 2002 =p hes just plain awesome from VERY young age.

@reed22racer Racing is about winning. If an automatic transmission helped riders win then riders would want them.
Where do all these smart mouth kids come from?

@1971SuperLead so you can kick the shifter down as many times as you want into a turn but still be in first gear, and not neutral
