Turbo Busa in the Texas Hill Country

Short compilation of my turbo Hayabusa as it spools and starts to pull hard. Lots of vibration with the suction cup mount on the tank used here. I take it easy when I ride and it keeps the man off my back. I'll make a little blast on a straight when I can see it's clear and then cool out and just enjoy the ride. Street racing is for squids! Take it to the track!

2000 Suzuki Hayabusa, 14 psi boost, MCXpress intercooled 5812 race kit, 93 octane pump gas, 335 hp. (It made 500 hp on race fuel at 32 psi).

Watch the speedo climb from 80 to 180 in the last run. The bike has been 233.059 mph on the track at the Texas Mile. Don't worry, I'll get faster. The bike is capable.

I took a little blast on these roads the other day and made a 3 gear pass at the same place as the last one on this vid. I stopped and pulled my helmet at the end and right after that, a DPS car raced by heading to where I just came from. They missed me by less than a minute. I went home a different way as soon as they were out of sight. Hah!

Hey, at least I recognize you when I see you Micah. :) Yeah, the time space thing is true. Amazing how quickly your closure rate increases. BTW- I lied on the opening title, The bike only makes 290 hp at 14 psi on pump gas. I must have been looking at a later 16 psi pull. I know it made 419 hp at 21 psi. Had to go all the way to 32 to get 500 out of it though. The turbo was past it's sweet spot by then.

Cookie- glad you liked it. Yup, 3 and 4th gear at 18/40 and it was sneaking up on 185. I figure the speedo is fairly close being a tooth up on the front sprocket. Doesn't matter. They get you to .001 mph resolution at the Texas Mile.

DB- That was at 14 psi which is safe for 93 octane pump gas. You should see that beast scream at around 30 psi. I give you less than a year and you'll give in and boost your bike too.

@turtlemann14 then you must not know of lee's performance or adams performance or htp performance or schnitz performance, they all have multiple bikes that are pushing 500+ hp. Lee's has a 1st gen street legal turbo busa making 550 hp to the wheel. comes with the dyno sheet to prove it. Research first.

I know the gear it happens in doesn't matter for crap but I have to say that is bad ass!

I have a monster power truck ( 6 figure truck build), but it runs like a turtle compared to you busa...Just wow!
