@betelgeuzer Creo que si han querido dignificar la tarea de La Masía con los valores inculcados a Messi han equivocado la efigie, el protagonista, el estereotipo. Si algo muestra este personaje aparte de jugar al futbol es su ignorancia, su desconocimiento, su incultura. Oir hablar a Messi implica hacer un ejercicio de paciencia para entenderle, sus palabras intermitentes, entrecortadas evidencian un retardo cultural y una dilación del código oral que denota mas torpeza que normalidad

I'm sure Messi knows some English, just not a lot. Seeing as it's been the language people have to learn in school for a long time and Messi is in his early 20's he probably knows a little bit.
