@FishingImport That's great- I see now how it works I'm fishing very shallow waters but when I go deeper I'll try it- also extremely effective are the all black paddle baits by keitech (swing impact) which I've been using after dark- with tremendous results!! I recommend night fishing to everyone if you want to catch some big bass--- just please catch and release unless you are starving!

Chikubi means nipple in Japanese :P

Chikubi rig??It looks like there's a small tungsten needle weight shoved into the center belly of the thing to help it balance in the water- all of the keitech paddle baits I've used except one run really straight in the water- even if your rigging is a little off- the one I had trouble with was the big one- the 5.8 - which you know I really wanted to try out! I tried it texas rig no weight- it spun around -the rigging was dead center- next time weighted swimbait hook for sure.

@ambroulard What comment on the Rig Chikubi not exactly true. The Swing Impact Fat swimming perfectly balanced without adding any weight whith No-Sinker Rig. What is the Insert sinker? It is to work the lure deeper. This is done by inserting two small tungsten needle weight in your belly. Only for deeper, not for balancing. The Japanese, who have invented this system, called Chikubi Rig. But you must insert always, always, two small tungsten needle weight to balance the lure. That is the secret.
