Stampede VXL & Rustler Mamba 5700

Back at my favourite spot :)
Driving around with stock Stampede VXL and 2 cell lipo - some nice jumps (and some, well, not so nice) and lots of wheelies.
On the other half of the video you can see my Rustler XL-5 with Mamba Max 5700 and 3 cell lipo (13/86 gears). Great speeds, big air and bad landings... :D

They were stock XL-5 wheels & Alias tyres.

Is that a xl-5 rustler, because if it is i was wondering how well the trany is holding up?

Yup, XL-5 it is. Tranny had aluminium idler and later the insides were replaced with VXL diff & idler.

Yeah stampede run over a lot but Its funny to drive, better ground clearance. By the way do you have problems stripping spur gears ? how many turns do you loosen the slipper in the vid ?

If I remember correctly, the slipper was loosened about 1/4 of turn from full tight.

How long run time you get? with your stampede. cause i have one too, and im trying to get more run time. Im useing the stock moter with the stock 7 cell 8.4 3000 mah, battry that came with it.
