The other flutist is Eric Dixon...which is to sayof the two soloists...look on the FAR right where there's a third one: Charlie Fowlkes.

Love the way the drummer spins the stick in the air and catches it at the very end.
This band is the epitome of coolness.

God bless you for posting this rare video. I'm a baby boomer and was lucky enough to see the Count live. When you think of big bands you don't think of a number like this - sublety and nuance. This is epitomy of Basie - quiet music, soloists... yet working as a team knowing that there is a rocking rhymn section, always, at the ready and a band that can expode on a dime.
