  • @Gscrunner7 Well, the 800m world record (and those that came before it) have a significant positive split, and I believe the 400m WR also has a slight positive split, but otherwise you are correct.

  • First off its a championship meaning he's already ran several races. Second no pacesetter. Third every world record now is set by negative splits meaning a faster second half. It's easier to do this way. Rather I mean its faster nothing comes easy in running.
