Lake Mead, while technically larger in surface area 167,000 sq. acres vs. Lake Cumberland's 66,000 sq acres, Lake Cumberland is almost as long at 101 miles and has more than 1,200 miles of shoreline. That's more shoreline than the state of Florida. You can easily find a very remote hidden spot.

looks exactly like us except we go out on lake mead, which is bigger then lake cumberland so you can really retreat deep into very remote spots that have great coves, especially with the water down 120 feet from full pool

seriously looking to doing a Houseboat vacation next year. It seems like everyone I ask says..."Best vacation ever", What do you think?

Yes, it is a rental. We get the 900 out of State Dock each year. It is a BLAST!! Whoever told you it is the "best vacation ever" is totally right! Every year it gets better than the last. I cant wait until our trip this year. 59 days, 21 hours and 18 minutes. As for the equipment, we have a bunch of friends in bands and they bring all that stuff and have a rock show every night. You should REALLY look into making the trip! Send me a message if you want more info. I would love to tell you more!
