@JackilynSpellman It's action as dialogue. Shakespeare didn't write conventional (or what we think is now conventional) stage directions. It was all done with dialogue.

In several of Shakespeare's novels, quite a few characters who die off shout, "Oh! I am slain!" when they are killed. WHY??? Who would have the frame of mind and control of their faculties enough to think, much less say that they have been slain?
