  • Esther Rolle was SO underratted as an actress, & this was one of her shining moments.

  • The most amazing thing about this catchphrase is that it was met to be a "throw-away" line not as infamous as it has become. But...because Esther Rolle was such an amazing actress and the incredible amount of regret and emotion she put into those words, she made it memorable for decades and generations to come. This is what acting is all about...making the unbelievable believable. RIP Esther Rolle.

  • listen to this without watching the video, and its funny.

  • Powerful, Ester was a great actress... RIP

  • yup when i heard about whitney thats EXACTLY how i behaved

  • The act behind it isn't funny, but I do wish she could've expressed it differently because it SOUNDS funny. Especially after Fresh Prince took this scene and ran with it. >_>

  • Lol

  • That's my ringtone! LOL

  • this is one of the greatest episodes and sceens in black tv history
