Yesterday, I dropped down to Greenwich Village in NYC for a private gadgetfest that was put on by Samsung and it proved to be worth the trip. We captured video of a bunch of new products that the company has in the offing — ones that span a variety of markets (businesses, consumers, etc.).
Samsung is one of a handful of hard drive manufacturers left in the world and it was showing off three new offerings (some not even in the market yet). Going from biggest to smallest (the same order I follow in the above video coverage of the drives), Samsung is now out with a $399 1 terabyte hard drive. Earlier this year, while at CES, we captured some video of the first teraybyte drive to hit the market from Hitachi.

Depends on which 1TB drive you get, the F1 is quite a bit more than the standard, but its MUCH faster.
