    It is actually. Designers do all the "drawings." You have to be really good at communicating ideas in sketch form in every view in perspective.

    You are wrong about aerodynamics. Corvettes and other sports cars have an aerodynamic shape that generates downforce. The shape you drew would not be good at generating downforce and instead would generate lift causing your car to have a top speed of 30mph.
