  • I never knew about drunken forms before. Is the purpose of such a form to throw off the mind-set of an attacker so that he'll think he's going to have it easier than he really will have?

  • @bdeshawn Yes, it may throw off the opponent's sense of timing and have the side benefit of coaxing the opponent into over-confidence, but the greatest discovery is for that of the practitioner. When fully developed, the training unleashes enormous striking power with fluidity, strength and control while appearing out-of-control and incapable.

  • @bdeshawn The CLF drunken form is an extremely high-level set. It helps the practitioner discover and realize the importance and effectiveness of relaxed movement. One develops great control, timing and strength through the off-centered and "drunken" type of movements.
