  • Yeah, Shawn your right. His podcasts did make me laugh. I was laughing when he proved you wrong again, again, and again. You have such a clever way of skewing the facts to make yourself sound correct, and everyone else idiots. You need to get your facts straight, and stop arguing from such a biased standpoint.

  • theLVD - LOL!! I hope you're kidding! He did a horrible job! His arguments were horrible.

He devoted an entire hour podcast to the "Why doesn't God give everyone equal evidence?" question... and he never answered the question! All he did was argue about the specific language I used, and ignore the question.

His answer to "Why doesn't God heal amputees?" was "Even though I don't know of any examples, you can't prove God hasn't healed any amputees."

  • wow, that left / right audio split is annoying when listening with headphones... or when you can hear better out of one ear than the other.

  • FinnHawk - Sorry about that... I figured the split would make it easier to tell which one of us was talking at any given time.

    I'll chill. :)

I haven't met a single atheist that says he knows god does not exist. And neither do I. But since there is no evidence for his existence, we simply don't believe he exists. Just like we don't believe in anything else without evidence.

No, I don't think I have all the answers, and again, no atheists I have talked to do. And no, all the answers doesn't mean the biggest answer. One answer doesn't answer another one.

    *Triple-turn somersault pimp slap*

    Chill the fuck out fella.

    Here take one of these.

    *Headbutt*

    You said:

Atheism doesnt believe it has all the answers. I think you know fine well I mean in the realm of answering the biggest question of questions, does God exist, they are quite certain on that.

ALL THE ANSWERS is another way of saying the biggest answer. And atheists clearly do think they do.

    SLAP/

    Atheists clearly claim to know

    *open backhanded slap*

  • @outofslumber "They both believe they have all the answers. Proving the bible wrong, or proving God doesnt heal amputees doesnt prove there is no God." - Nope, not atheism. Especially the "have all the answers" part. "It just proves the bible is wrong and God doesnt interfere in human affairs." - Guess so too. "Or to be more precise a big "DONT KNOW"" - YUP! You're getting at it! "The certainty on both sides is very off putting." *facepalm* Are you high?
  • @Zurie53225

Didn't the discovery of the quantum world blow that whole certainty of "real" apart. I mean because of the quantum world science doesnt act so cocky and surefooted. You could even argue a spirituality has entered science. It manifests itself in theory that is open minded. I think the quantum world had science scratching its head to the point it came to the inescapable conclusion there might be much more than seen or imagined. Multiverses, alternate universes etc.

  • @justforflag2

DMT is reference to the "spirit molecule". Similarities to LSD and chemicals that are either "opening your mind and allowing you to perceive what you could not before" OR "making you experience things that are not real". The point being that until you've had one of these experiences how can you gauge how real it was. I'm all for science, and to me this is the most neglected street in science city. Despite Science being repeatedly told "the source" lives on that street. Or "God".

  • @justforflag2

Atheism is very akin and alike to Christianity. They both believe they have all the answers. Proving the bible wrong, or proving God doesnt heal amputees doesnt prove there is no God. It just proves the bible is wrong and God doesnt interfere in human affairs. Or he doesnt exist. Its a big "OR". Or to be more precise a big "DONT KNOW". The certainty on both sides is very off putting. Atheists should all be forced to have a dose of DMT. Feel their spirit being moved and blew open.
