@MarinerMercury same as I said about italian cars. an aston and a jag...somehow they are cooler then a bmw or a mercedes. more classy. but of course a tvr or a triumph is rubbish in comparison to a Porsche if u wanna win a race. germans are the best engineers, italians are the best designers, and the u.k., well, they are british, which is always very cool and classy.

but I have to say I don't have the experience of actual driving to compare. I can only go on what I hear about it, from what I see and what I feel when I see one of those cars, hear the engine etc. and then I gotta say, a Ferrari is alway more classy then a Porsche. German cars are great, but I think in comparison, they lack a littble of class in an emotional way.

@iamfumanchu i think its wrong that people just clicked negative on ur comment. as jeremy clarkson from top gear said. "define greatness. greatness isnt only reliability". I think its pretty sure german cars are better made then italian cars. but do they have the same soul? I'm not sure. I think, if u think of culture, soul, greatness, italian cars like Lancia, Ferrari and Alfa are even if not superior to german cars, even if they tend more to fall apart. btw, I'm german.

@clkgtramg65 our language is a freakin weapon which goethe, hoelderlin and some other guys used to perfection. same for our cars. american cars are often beautiful, but good american race cars are rare.

this tech art is now restyling in 997 turbo with with body totally in carbon fiber. The power has been increased from before 600cv to 900cv, adopting different turbines.

i lol @ people who argue between german and american cars, they arent even in the same class... im Canadian so i cant vouch for anyone but i will say from my knowlegde, german cars are faster on the nurburgring while american cars are faster on the drag strip. I actually own an american muscle car so this is where im getting my info from NO REASON TO BE HATING EACHOTHER
