@bdmfkr It's so sad that they used such awful excuse not to make it, after all we are talking about here a simple metallic plates that can be welded or attached with bolts to any part of this great great device that can make life easier for the person in the video and for many other people in that position including myself. I'm sorry to hear that it was taken away.

Why is this tech being stopped and why is it not as common? Most wheelchairs ar in a stoneage.

@akulax2 The main issue that I know of is that you can't drive a vehicle from it or use an easylock or similar auto-locking device, so insurance companies weren't covering this great tech & the iBot lost it's funding. That's what I've understood, it's sad cause this chair was fantastic in every other area & would help so many users

Great video, but tell douchebag not to uh, HOLD ON TO AND PUSH/PULL the chair. It kinda like, ruins the demonstration.

@bdmfkr Jeez, so sorry to sound so mean at first! :) Nothing wrong with being careful. Still doesn't quite count as a real demo though. Did you get to keep it?

@AnthonyWW68 i totally agree w/ your first response, i wanted to know what the chair would do, push the limits a little. no i didn't keep it, the chair wouldn't lock into my van so i couldn't drive from it, i wouldn't be able to use it everyday. the chair is sick but they need to figure out a lock for it, if they do i will be buying it right away, too bad they have now lost their funding. hopefully one of these days it'll be back.
