Conoco Phillips and Exxon/Imperial Oil Big Rig Heavy Haul

Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN) and Northern Rockies Rising Tides recently provided best selling author Naomi Klein ("The Shock Doctrine"), with a tour of the proposed heavy haul route. "This is some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen." Said Naomi Klein. Ms. Klein continued to say "The road is narrow and winding...built to have minimum impact on this incredible natural environment."

WOw she is obv so dumb. I mean if you export oil from arab countries that wouldnt harm the planet but if you get the oil from canadian land it would harm planet. And canadian companies are way more efficient and produce as low emmisions as possible. IF u r so concerned why dont u stop driving car and ride a bike. and stop putting all that make up cuz it uses chemical and harms environment too. If you close down tar sands lot of people are gonna loose jobs and be homeless. srsly buzz off.

well, the trucks are now moving up the river. I am anxiously awaiting a video of naomi showing us what dreadful things have happened to this corridor after they have let these big scary trucks go through. Oh my! look what we have done! If only we had listened to Naomi! hahaha

The trucks will run between 2am and 5am.Care to drive that road at that time? Please stop posting misleading photots of a truck that is not coming up the road. Will these trucks not buy diesel fuel, buy food and contribute cash for road damage? This is not an oil well-this is a well calculated logistical operation-which is probably the second oldest profession. Which way should the trucks go? Please, do tell.

"Alberta Tar Sands are the largest single source of carbon emissions in Canada" and the sun is the largest single source of climate change. How about capping off volcanos first and then telling environmental groups to stop creating hurricaines through their support of controversial projects intended to create clouds and alter the weather. Beyond a certain limit carbon dioxide stops having a significant effect that's why most of the changes attributable to man happened decades ago.
