"On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame. . ." The cross. The rugged cross. Not the carved, finished cross that hangs on the walls of our churches, not the cross that towers proudly atop our places of worship, not the pretty gold charm that we hang around our neck, but the raw, untreated, splintered cross that symbolizes the most powerful act of redemption in the history of mankind. This unselfish act happened so long ago, and so far away, that we tend to forget what it really cost, and what it demands of us in response.
Join the high school choir and staff as we are encouraged and challenged to move the cross back to the central focus of our lives this Holy Season.
You are warmly invited to worship and celebrate with us.
