The state of J&K may be notionally in India, but we are NOT governed by the Indian Constitution. We have protected status under article 370 (look it up on the web), which means NO OUTSIDER can own any assets in J&K.

Even the Indian state institutions (banks, railways etc.) own nothing and are on LEASED land and have to pay for keeping it.

Kashmiris want to be clubbed with your tindu-pindu Azad (pile of rubble) Kashmir as much as developed S Korea wants to be seen with fundos from N Korea!

Azad my arse ... your tiny strip of land is a terrorist training hotbed and whatever infrastructure you had is now a pile of rubble due to the quake. It is overrun by punjabis, and now even has waziri suicide bombers running amock.

Come to Srinagar and drive down the boulevard around the Dal, with the fine scented air from the Zabarwan forests all around and you know what Kashmir really is, and compare it to the hell hole you inhabit.

Kaeshur is one of the 12 scheduled languages recognised by India. So much for your claim that it is unrecognised. Kashmiri is the language of high culture and was given patronage in the Moghal court as well.

I live in London (St John's Wood, to be precise), not in Bradford or Luton or some ghetto frequented by your types. You guys run riot here, get involved in all kinds of drug abuse, terrorist activities (aren't some of the 7/7 bombers of your ilk?) and have the gall to call us terrorists!

koshur is a dying language and culture where as potwari is goin from strength to strength bless

azad kashmiri's had the ballz to rebel against the raja so india cud not take us over, which is why we are azad kashmiri's

ur language is a joke no one in pakistan or india recognises it lol only recently has it been reintroduced in schools only in that tiny little valley u dwell in.

at least potwari is far more known, (80% of uk pakistanis are my kind) :P

im from azad kashmir and u r probably from the kashmir valley...we are all kashmiri get that into ur head

potwari spoken by 4,680,000 people

large amount of azad kashmiris abroad too so we outnumber ur valley language

As far as independence goes, J&K is dominated by the Kashmir-speaking ethnic group from the Valley. Our language has recently been made compulsory for all school-going kids.

If you try to come to the valley and call yourself Kashmiri in that tindoo-pindoo pahari dialect of yours, people will laugh at you. So, I suggest accept your true identity and stop spoiling our good name.

"Azad Kashmir....the hint is in the name.."

Actually, the official name of the province is AJK, or Azad Jammu & Kashmir. More specifically, the regions of the Jammu division of the erstwhile princely state now under Pakistani control.

During the 1947 Kashmir war, all of the Pakistani forces were cleared from the Kashmir valley. So, technically no part of Kashmir proper falls under Pakistani control.

Koeshur is spoken by 4-5 million people, & is the majority language in the region!
