Most side effects are dose-related. A senior usually is more sensitive to SSRI dosing schedules made for a non-existent "average patient."

I TOTALLY had sexual side effects from this & Effexor XR. It makes you disinterrested. And I certainly was not disinterrested prior to taking these drugs. I also have SEVERE chronic fatigue, I assume it has to do with this b/c I am not taking any other meds.

This stuff is pretty gnarly. I just recently stopped taking it after about 1.5 years (I was on Effexor XR prior to that & having WICKED anxiety attacks.) I switched to Zoloft b/c my Dr. told me it was safe to take while pregnant, but Effexor was not. (I had a Dr. argue w/ me claiming that Effexor XR was safe while pregnant, even tho it clearly can cause birth defects!) Zoloft DID calm my anxiety attack problem, But I just recently decided it was time to ween myself off of this stuff.

First, it's not a "medicine"

It is a drug and it's no different from any other street drug you can get your hands on

Zoloft is legal because it makes the politicians rich

It's just the way things played out

As for "side effects" that's a bullshit phony term

They are just effects of the drug

Most people do feel numerous negative effects when they take zoloft in a dosage of 50 mg or higher and these effects cause GREAT harm to the body

Two pills healed me.

It worked because it fucked me up so thoroughly and crushing that I stared death in the face. As I recovered I was happy for the simple fact that I had survived and that I could think clearly. It took me weeks to return to my prior state (and I still experience memory loss and headaches). I imagine taking 50 mg of zoloft is what a bad heroin trip is like, and perhaps worse. The vast number of negative effects this drug has on the body is astonishing.

I stopped taking Zoloft cold turkey on October 2010. To this day, my brain is still permanently damaged.
