Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen
Studio: Lucasfilm Animation Company
Software: Nuke, Proprietary Painting and Rotoscoping Tools
Description: The first 2 pieces of work are references to the training shot
that I have completed and approved by my trainers and supervisors during
my Jedi Master Program. Both shots needed paint works like dust and wire
removal, especially for the second shot, where trackers on the actors body
and face needs to be painted out. Rotoscoping was also needed. In the
second shot, Megatrons foot needs to be placed behind the actor and the
platform that he was lying on, so for almost 3/4 of the shot, they needed to
be roto out. The 3D camera were available for both shots, so I was able to
place practical elements in 3D space using Nuke

Mandy and her Mighty Adventure (Season 1 & 2)
Studio: Dream Forest Animation
Software: After Effects, Particle Illusion, Photoshop, Flash
Description: Compositing the 2D animated characters into the live
footage. I need to use Particle Illusion to generate some effects when the
characters perform their magical powers. Quite a number of shots requires
tracking and stablizing. One particular episode was shot on blue screen, so
extraction and background replacement is needed. I also created the Sun
and planets for that episode. I used After Effects and some plugins to
create the Lava surface of the sun and similar effects for the other planets
.
Haunted Red House (School Project)
School: Temasek Polytechnic
Software: Softimage 3D, After Effects
Description: I modeled and animated the character and composited it with
the footage that I shot, which is believed to be a real haunted house. Its
one of my first successful compositing work.
