Doctor Who and Darth Vader played bit-parts in Hitchhikers Guide. There's something appealing in that.

It's weird, that is not the way any of them look or sound in my head. Trillian is the one that bothers me the most. In my head she's more in control than any other single character of any importance in any of the books. And she's most definitely not of the breathy airhead variety at all! In my head she does still look like that zookeeper girl that played trillian in the movie. Arthur dent through some strange twist of reality is exactly David Mitchell. Zaphod is g.w. bush as a standup comedian.
