Just hours after the first big snowstorm of the winter, DownWind Outdoors got to work in search of a hungry coyote. With Jerrod and Andy heading to the western part of the county, Gaugler went and picked up a guest shooter, Chad Miller, to double the odds against this wise animal. After a couple stands without any luck all-around, the teams united at a familiar property to establish their plan of ambush. Using the same setup technique from the video "Camera Shy Dog", the DownWind Snipers lured another coyote out of the thick gut below for this heavy timber predator hunt.
Throwing together some last-minute snow camo, Chad's white bed sheet proved to be all that was needed to fool this hardwoods prowler. With the Crack Rabbit squealing to our left, this coyote came right up close for the 50 yard shot and Chad's first coyote on video.

Great work. I'm up in central Ontario and the coyotes are really on the move. Having a blast. Tell me if there is something more fun than calling in coyotes. I love the winter. Keep up the good work. It's nice to see some eastern coyote action. They are a lot tougher to shoot than people realize.

What kind of stock did you have on that rifle?

@Jakester308 It's just the brush camo synthetic stock that came with 700 and then I wrapped it with some no-stick snow camo wrap.
