Define forgiveness. Whats your process? Why forgive? What it means? Is it about behavior or the other person? Is forgiveness "shame based"? When do you continue to maintain a relationship with some one who continually hurts you? When do you not?

  • One thing I haven't heard anyone bring up yet. The punishment aspect of unforgiveness.

  • Some acts are just unforgivable. But if you do forgive never forget.

  • Thanks for sure Mai. Forgetting is not reasonable.

  • Sometimes I think people say they forgive, but are actually still punishing the person indifferent ways.

  • this contains a boatload of thought provoking questions !

will be thinking about my answers, but for now-- VERY NICE DRAWINGS !!!

    :))

  • Thanks Ananda. Looking forward to seeing your feedback.

  • I do understand the people aren't programmed and we're allowed to make mistakes. I really do get that. But I think BECAUSE we're not pre-programmed, we need to take that extra minute or six and really heed the advice of a brilliant and life-savvy lady who tells us to "THINK ... THINK about whatcha tryin to do to me"

I don't think mistakes need be punishable by death (of a relationship - be it friend, lover, whatever) but I do think some sort of lesson need be learned. That's the tough part 4me.

  • Your drawings are incredible; so detailed. Thanks for sharing those... now I must seek out others on your channel.

Forgiveness. Hoo boy that's a tough topic with me. I've morphed over the years. I used to forgive darned near everything. (peace, love, hugs and flowers ... oh what a wonderful world ~~ and all that)

Then something happened. I can't put my finger on it. I've tried. But when my 'something' happened, I had a much tougher time forgiving, and forgetting left my dictionary.

  • I agree.

  • Thank you Muhkuh. Thank you for watching. Much respect to you and yours.

    Peace, MM
