Remembering the legendry music director from Pakistan and India - Khawaja Khurshid Anwar - on his 25th anniversary on October 30, 2009. His first film was Kurmai in 1941 and his last film was Neelam Pari in India. His first film in Pakistan was Intezar - an all time great musical Urdu film. His last film was Mirza Jatt in 1982. Zehr-e-ishq (1958), Koel and Jhoomar (1959), Ayaz (1960), Ghoonghat (1962), Chingari and Haveli (1964), Heer Ranjha (1970) and Salam-e-Mohabbat (1971) were some of his all time best musical movies in Pakistan.

  • she was an exceptional singer & Khawaja Sahib was a genius of his own kind...may God bless them both!! What melodic treasure they have given to us to enjoy as long as we are alive....
