Taylor Swift on CSI: Can she Act?

Taylor Swift may be giving up her music for another career path. Im Dana Ward with the latest news on the country singing star.

Taylor seems to be at the top of her game. Shes had several chart-topping songs, shes performed at the Grammys and her fabulous style is the talk of the town. Yet this 19-year-old celebutante has taken it a step further. She just finished up her guest-star role on the CBS hit show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. According to Tay-Tay, she got to fulfill her dream of being on the show that shes been a fan of for years. Her role as a teen murder victim had Swift as the daughter of a motel manager who gets into serious trouble. CSI watchers could spot the singer rocking different hair colors and styles and even a fake piercing, throughout the flashback-sequences.

Fans were generally pretty happy about Taylors first-time acting performance one that she herself noted to be life-changing. In fact, CBS was ecstatic about the viewer numbers, at about 21-million, which is 3-million more viewers than the previous week. Also featured on the hit CSI episode, was a specially produced song by Taylor, a remix of Youre Not Sorry.

But Swifts acting debut isnt the end of her thespian career. In fact, the country star is slated for a cameo in the upcoming Hannah Montana Movie alongside new gal-pal Miley Cyrus. And, of course, the future role that acting plays in Taylors life can only be chosen by her.
