Saw you guys at Outbreak Omega... all I can say is I'm glad you guys split from CAA and the sales reps put on a good show, but please make a revision to this stock set! your tolerances are way too tight for the lower, it would not fit whatsoever on my WASR 10/63 and the upper has about a 1/8 inch of spacing from the front handguard retaining plate to the front of the tekko upper, (4 allen screws to retain the grip?) needless to say, I sent it back to CTD today. stick with mag clamps for now...

Sorry to hear you felt you had to send it back. The "Stock Set" you're referring to is the Upper and lower rail for the TP47 we take it? Unfortunately you are the first person to have any of these issues with the Tekko, and as I'm sure you know the majority of AK's are different. We have 4 screws to help maintain your zero for optics. Here's the way I look at it- either get a quick detach or have an allen wrench ready, because all you have to do is yank off the optic and keep shooting....

Can anyone tell me if there is an upper retainer bracket needed for the gas tube when using the TP47IRS TEKKO Rail System and a SAIGA 7.62x39? I know I will need a lower retaining bracket per Carolina Shooters Supply's product description for this product but it is unclear as to whether or not I need a different AK47 upper hand guard tension spring for the SAIGA gas tube or an entirely different gas tube altogether.

Any word on Zero for optics on these things? I know they claim that it'll hold zero, but a claim ain't a guarantee. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
