My bearing does not have any screws behind it

I rented the 32 mm. impact socket from Autozone for free (deposit returned) Torque the nut to 175 ft lbs with the wheel on the ground and you should be fine

Never use an air gun on the axle nut. You will damage the bearing you just installed! It should be torqued with a torque wrench with the wheel on the ground

The mechanic is a nimrod for hanging the caliper with the brake hose!

I have a 4x4 suburban. I thought my driver side front bearings were bad (since I'd don't my right side fronts last year and had a similar noise), but it appears it's the rears. How similar is it to replace those?

this was not a good video, sure they showed you how to replace the parts but this technician cut a lot of corners ! hanging the calipers buy its hose can do damage to the hose or the caliper if it falls, using an impact gun on a hub nut can over torque and also cause per mature damage to the bearing. using a gun on the wheel nut can be ok if torque stick are use then recheck with a torque wrench. this job is just dickered!

Can't do damage tightening the axle nut with an impact.I do do this and no damage done. There is no way to get the axle torqued down all the way.

yes i like the demonstration and would like to keep watching.

this is why i repair my own car. you pay them good money to do the job right which i rated at 4 hours labor. and they hack it out in 30 min, but still get payed the 4 hours.

you should always hand tighten the lug nuts prior to using an impact otherwise your going to cross thread your bolts.
Uhh... you really shouldn't have the brake calipers dangling like that from the brake hose....

Dude...nice vid, but even a shade tree wrench knows not to dangle a heavy cast iron caliper from the hose
