@ Iceteagator Round 2.

1) AWD car getting smoked by 4 sec. from a RWD on a track ...that's a pretty big deal

2) The 911 actually broke.

3) Good thing Porsche did break before the mile test...we know what the result wudda been, another spanking.

Vette lost on seats, which GM has now fixed...took them forever!

I do love 911's and AWD w/ rear engine always take it off the line.

Vette's achievement here: Usually one car wins track, the other high speed. ZR1 took both!

@Poptartza That's funny because porsche is one of the top rated manufactures in terms of quality and reliability while chevy isn't even in the top 10 according to jd powers and comsumer reports.

@xflynskywlkr23 To many people confuse quality with luxury. I know people who use Porsches as daily drivers and people who use Vettes as daily drivers. Guess which ones are in the shop more... The Porsches. Without a doubt Porsches are better in terms of luxury, but quality is measured in reliability.

Doesn't matter if its a turbo or turbo s the zr1 can beat any of them around the track . does any one really think the S is more than 4 seconds faster around this course ? It would get trashed also

gah besides all the other arguments this isn't a fair competion either. Against the racing version of the Chevy's Corvette you have to put the racing version of the 911 as well man...GT2 or at least 911 Turbo S!

@stealth07r1 just like the vette broke down after 3 days of testing when top gear went to america when jeremy actually fell in love with it, and quarter mile it beat the vette, 0-60 also. an engine is an engine, so your reliability argument is invalid really. motortrend always blows up the zr-1 to be awesome but i love how its always a pro driver in it, put 2 slightly better than average drivers in the cars instead of a le mans winner and the 911 will take it hands down.
