"Deeply" b/w "I Want To Believe In This One",was the only single released from Anson Williams ( "Potsie" on Happy Days ) on Wes Ferrell's, Chelsea Records in 1977.
Anson Williams as "Potsie" even sang "Deeply" on the Happy Days episode, "Graduation" as to promote the single release, but, sadly Chelsea Records folded shortly after "Deeply" was released in 1977.
"Deeply" really had the potential to launch a singing career for Anson Williams cause its not a bad song & really holds up well against any of the other ballads of the day that were being released in 1976 / 1977.
It wouldve been interesting to hear what his album wouldve sounded like.
Fellow Happy Days, "Ralph Mouth", Donny Most even released an album & a few singles on United Artists Records in 1977 as well.

  • @johnnyaa My pleasure

  • @Ihy744ppp I must agree. "Extraordinary" was not the right word. Thank you my friend

  • @johnnyaa Extraodinary?

It's good, but not that, terribly dated though, but is has a nice nostalgic feeling to it..

  • Who is that singing backing vocals?

  • soft & soothing 70's pop...nothing like this made today, it's all harsh noise now!

  • Very nice song ! Thanks Anson !

  • Anson was a guest judge on the Gong Show when this record was released, and he held up one of the "score" cards on which he'd written "DEEPLY HAPPY" with a magic marker. The record still stiffed. What a Potsie !!!

  • I'm very impressed. I hated Anson's vocals on everything he sang on "Happy Days". Seemed like he was trying to become another 70's lounge singer. This however is extraordinary.

  • any idea who wrote it,, interesting as its a nice song and yet its not his natural key he has a deeper voice!
