You should be able to get to the baffle screws under the drum once the front is off.

My Wife put her nurse shoes in the dryer and it broke the short baffle, I am sure it was well on its way out, Thanks for saving me the time in figuring out how to dismantle my Maytag Model# MD35500AYW Series. Its the same as yours in dismantling that is. Great job with 1 Arm!!! Thats what inspired me to do mine, If a gentlemen with one arm can do it? Whats my excuse? Good Show!
