RomeCup 2009 - Penalty kick challange - German Team (goal keepr) vs. Italian Team (attacker)

Competition held in the Rome's town hall, the Campidoglio, on 7 May 2009. In this video two teams are executing penalty kicks. The challenge for the German robot (the goal keeper) is to recognize the ball and move in time to block it, while the Italian robot (the attacker) have to find the ball, reach it and kick it in the goal. This challange shortly summarize many issues of Robocup

Gara tenuta in Campidoglio, il giorno 7 Maggio 2009. In questo video vengono eseguiti i calci di rigore, la sfida, per il robot-portiere tedesco, e' riconoscere la palla e muoversi nel giusto posto per bloccarla per tempo. Il robot-attaccante italiano, invece, deve riconoscere la palla, raggiungerla e calciarla in porta, cercando di evitare il portiere. Questa piccola sfida riassume alcuni dei problemi piu' importanti affrontati dai robot durante la Robocup.
