chapter 4

Makena's pov

His expression sofented and he pulled me into a hug. I burried my face in his chest and hugged him back. After a minute he pulled away.

- Come on. Let's get some ice on it.

He took my hand and lead me upstairs. He took me to the kitchen and put me on the counter. He got some ice wrapping it in a towel and put it on the back of my neck. I flinch and push his hand away instinctively. But he put it back on. It really hurt and he could tell. He kissed my head and told me to hold the ice there.

He walked over to the freezer and got something. I wasn't really paying attention until he came back over with ice cream. I smile and take a spoon. We both ate strait from the carten for a little while until my neck felt frozen. He took the ice pack off and examined my neck.

Taylor: It looks a little better now.
- Good.
Taylor: So what do you wanna do baby?
- I don't care. Anything's fine with me.
Taylor: Alright then. How about we .... I have no idea.
- *yawns* Tay can we just stay home?
Taylor: *chuckles* Of course we can Pooh Bear. And it looks like someone's tired.
- No.
Taylor: Uh huh. Sure.

I just roll my eyes and jump down. We went walked to the living room and started playing guitar hero. We were having a good time. I love being with Taylor. I hate having to be away from him. It really sucked being away from him for so long. Three months really was too long. I've really missed him.

Taylor's pov

After a while of playing guitar hero we were both tired. We sat down on the couch. She lays her head on my lap and we watch tv. After a while I look down and chuckle. She's fast asleep. I stand up carefully and pick her up. I carry her up to her room and tuck her in bed. I shut off the lights and go to my room getting ready for bed. I'll have to deal with all the leagal stuff tomorrow. What great fun. Atleast it'll be worth it when I know no one can take her away from me.

I got changed and layed down in my bed and slowly fell asleep.

A few hours into the night about 12:30 AM. I wake up from screaming. I grab a bat and run to Makena's room. I burst open the door and see her sleeping. But she was tossing and turning. Screaming and crying. I drop the bad and run over to her.

Makena: NO! NO! TAYLOR !!!! NO PLEASE !!!!

I shake her until her eyes fly open and she immediatly sits up. She was breathing heavy sweating and still crying. She saw me and clung to me. I hug her back confused.

- Shh. Pooh Bear it's ok. Shh. What happend sweetie?
Makena: B-bad dream.
- What was it about?
Makena: N-nothing.

She burried herself into my chest and cried. I hug her until she finally calms down. I lay her down and kiss her forehead.

- Sweetie what was it about?
Makena: *sniffs* Nothing.
- *sighs* Alright. Just get some sleep.

I hug her goodnight and kiss her forehead.

- Goodnight honey. I love you.
Makena: I love you too Tay Tay.

I turn off her light and starty walking out.

Makena: Wait! Taylor.
- Ya Kena?
Makena: Will you stay with me? Please?
- Of course I will baby.

I walk back to her bed and lay down with her. She cuddle close to me laying her head on my chest. She was still shaking a little bit. I have no idea what just happend. But whatever did really scared her. She'll tell me soon. She always tells me when she's ready.

We both fall asleep after a while.

Makena's pov

I woke up the next morning and Taylor wasn't there. He wasn't in the room. I get up and run to his room. He's not in there either. I start panicing. Where is he?

I run down the stairs like a wild women and to the kitchen. He's not there either. I run down to the basement. He's noot there. WHERE IS HE !?!? I run back upstairs freaking out. The bathroom door opens behind me. I turn around and see Taylor walk out. I run up to him and cling to him.

He had no idea what was going on. But he hugged me back anyway. He picked me up and let me hug him. He brought me into his room and layed me on the bed next to him.

Taylor: What's going on?
- I didn't know where you were.
Taylor: So you bassically tackle me in a hug? I went to the bathroom not to war.
- .....
Taylor: Makena.
- .....
Taylor: Tell me.
- Nothing. I just didn't know where you were.
Taylor: *sighs* Fine.

Taylor's pov

I don't push it anymore. She's already been through so much I don't want to push it anymore then I am. Not right now. She'll tell me when she's ready. I get up and help her up. We walk downstairs. I make breakfast. She barley touches it. She only ate some of it because I made her.

Well today we have to take care of all the leagal stuff. Wont this be fun. We change. I was wearing black dress pants and a white button down shirt. I was waiting for Makena to come down. She came down the stairs and my eyes widend. Only one word was all I could think or say. She was wearing this.
