On the same radio show, h got an email from a father of a child with down syndrome who explained to him (he was a fan) that babies with down syndrome are very , very difficult to take care of and it DOES matter when they are that young. He a apologized for being false. So it wasn't an open apology to Sarah Palin. But he did apologize for his words to parents of children with down syndrome in general.
