My New Ohana Ukelele!

It's an Ohana (means family) SK35G Soprano Ukelele. This tune is an old track of mine called "Jonathan Richman (A Song About Love)"

the soprano uke actually uses completely different fingerings for the chords. the only type of uke you can use guitar chords on is the baritone ukelele.. this is a very very simple song to play, i wish i could consider my playing advanced!

Very nice tonal ukulele. Agree, the Ukulele chords are similar to Guitar and yet different... for example if you finger a guitar C , in Ukulele is equivalent to a G fingering.

Just have to decode the chords when translating from Guitar to Uke fingering.

I think the ukelele is an excuse for a guitar and modern day wannabes pick it up probably cuz some pop artist made it popular.

Nice job..... I have a new Ohana also.... i just recently started playing though, I'm nowhere near as good as you are. I keep trying though!
