Question: how do you use the right fingerings when your trying to play notes that skip around the piano?. im having alot of trouble with this. :/

@404jipjip - well in this video your fingers are locked on an individual key (no jumping around) and you just have to match the right number to the correct numbered finger.

i have a seriuos question... can you play the piano wihtout reading the sheet?

@jasm801 - yes you can. You can either play by numbers (the way I show you in this begginer series) or you can play by ear.

I used to take piano lessons. REALLY expensive. I had to quit after a few lessons cause I couldn't afford it. But while I was taking them my teachers made no note in the proper fingering. They let me do whatever the h*ll I wanted and I got some really bad habits....

It's been years since I took lessons, but I play my piano every day. I know nothing but what my teachers told me for 5 lessons. But music is my life and I couldn't take it anymore... So thank u for posting... Maybe now I can follow
