Transformers Optimus vs Megatron "X-Men theme"

Is this weird or what?!
Watch how perfectly the music from "X-Men Last Stand" fits with the Optimus vs Megatron scene from Transformers the Movie! It's the "Dark Pheonix Tragedy" and "Farewell to X" themes from "Last Stand".

I was just sitting around one evening and thought to play this music with the scene from Transformers because that scene in X-Men moved me as much as the scene of Optimus Prime's sacrifice in Transformers. And I couldn't believe how well they fit! I was like, "Was this score made for alternate use in this scene??!"

I hope X-Men fans aren't feeling to competitive about me using this for this Transformers scene. As far as X-Men goes, I'm a big fan nowadays as you'll see by my "favorates" list, but Transformers is still number #1 for me. Although Micheal Bay sure knows how to screw things up. I never payed much attention to the comics as a kid (except for Wolverine stuff) because I could never understand what was happening or who the characters were and where they came from. It was far into the series by the time I saw them and they never backtracked to what brought them to this point. So I stuck with Spider-Man because they always backtracked to what made him Spider-Man and what made him chose to be a hero. With having been bit by a radioactive spider and what happened to his Uncle Ben.

Even though Spider-Man was always my favorate superhero, nowadays, I'm starting to lean over to being more of an X-Men fan because of how the movies were handled and the fact you don't have to be a fan of the comic to understand the story because they explain everything. The Spider-Man movies were handled in sort of a silly, corny fasion. Don't believe me, watch the "Nostalgia Critic's" review of them. Whereas the X-Men movies were handled much better, giving them an epic and emotional, dramatic feel to them, as you see in great movies like, "Saving Private Ryan". This is the reason I decided to combine the two. Because Transformers moved us that way when we were kids watching this and I'm not ashamed to say, I cried my eyes out when Optimus died when I was a kid. Just as I cried when Xavier died in X-Men Last Stand.

By the way, I loved "First Class" as well and I hope all you X-Men and Transformers fans alike enjoy this :)
