A couple of mates and I traveled to Carytown in Richmond, VA on March 15th to find a protest underway.

Please excuse the terrible camera work, and the smudges, and I'm sure there are tons of other flaws. This is pretty much raw footage I gathered, so I will probably edit it in the future.

  • @synergy1030 And one last note. L Ron Hubbard, the "Church" of Scientology's founder, was a highly racist man.

  • @synergy1030 But hey. If Scientology makes sense to you, you're clearly an easily influenced and not so bright individual who ultimately deserves to have their life ruined. So have fun praising a shitty science fiction author and funneling your life savings away if you ever decide to join their little party.

  • @synergy1030 Haha, I have news for you, my clueless friend. The founder of this scam himself said religion is THE BEST WAY TO MAKE MONEY. It's a greedy cult that has destroyed lives and continues to destroy lives. It's not a religion, and if someone attempts to leave Scientology, they will blackmail you, your family, your friends, and they WILL try to physically harm you. They do crazy, illegal shit -- I can't fit all their antics into a single comment.

  • @Baybthumper L. Ron Hubbard created Scientology with the sole intent of making as much money as possible. It is an evil, violent cult, and your comment makes you sound totally clueless and very ignorant. I suggest reading the book "Inside Scientology". BTW these guys do not look like 'country bumpkins'. They don't even SOUND Southern, and I say that as someone that was born and raised in North Carolina, who also happens to have redneck family up in rural Appalachian Ohio and West Virginia. :P

  • I just started checking thhis scientology thing out and makes sense. It makes you think outside the norm, &most people don't want to think outside the scriptures that were shoved down their throats by their parents, grandparents, great grandparents etc...

Check out Law of Attraction If you're not afraid to think.......

  • The funny shit is they're sitting there pumpin' Will Smith, Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song who also is either a believer or has close tides 2Scientology. People protest that which they dont understand out of ignorance. I'm with you Baythumper, people need 2stop shoving shit down other people's throats!

  • Wow, what a bunch of dumb f'ks' . All the protesters looked like a bunch of white country bumkins. Let people believe in what they want... They are no worse than the ones that go door to door pushing thier beliefs... talk about making someone sick. Now that makes me sick!

  • Same thing. Privledged white people.

  • Right accross from the 7-11 store there are at least 4 scientology orgs in VA about a year ago there was only one near D.C.

  • Yuppy? Hardly! More like artsy and hipster central.
