it doesnt really work., just indoors and around light foliage, its mostly unplayable.

I fixed the missing textures problem with the patch, but it still lags outside.
OPENGL is a fail aswell.

I am still amazed that the eepc runs some of the games it does .

okay this is my setup i hve a eeepc 904ha 2gb of ram overclocked to 2.0gh 160gb hdd external 250gb hdd external dvd drive and well yeah same stuff otherwise the gma 950 and such and i run far cry at 800by600 lowest settings runs at 43 frames per second damn playable.

Have you trimmed XP? Upgraded the ram?

Nope, its a full install with 512 mb ram, i might get some more ram later, anyway the 1.4 Patch fixed most of the issues, still getting around 3 Fps outside though. :(

well my Eee wont be arriving for another two weeks, but I've been playing with NLite to modify XP... there are recomended settings for the thing, but you can cut whatever you want out, preconfigure the install etc. I got a copy on an old P4 rig down to 62mg Ram and under 2gig idle... Easy program to use too, check it out!
