How the hell can people love this man when he just equated an old woman's zeal for life "a waste that exists in the system"? I'm sure people who read this and still love him will just dance around it and say "oh, thats not what he said". Bullshit. A person who can say, "you are a waste in the system because you are old (eventually too ill, just wait) and your wanting to live effects me not" is one made of pure evil. By denying life in this way will eventually kill more than the holocaust did.

@apicalmaristem If they're denied they move onto another company.. that's how the private sector works. My mom was able to get ample care WITHOUT insurance while she was in labor just 4 months ago... She received a C-section without insurance mind you. People are not left to die in this country despite what the biased media wants to brainwash you with bud. Just my 2 cents alright?

@LunarPoetry473 That's all fine and well but even some people who pay for insurance are denied operations to save their lives. Whether you like it or not socialized healthcare is coming to America so we'll see just how well it does. Just give it a chance. And, still, if you don't like it, you don't HAVE to buy it...there will still be privatized doctors for people who can afford them.

@apicalmaristem oh yeah? Do you know how many "uninsured" die each year? It's SO small it's not even funny. So you want to ruin the best HC system in the known world because some people would rather not buy health insurance? Somehow I don't believe that's our fault. You do know those "47 million" uninsured.. 10 million make over 250k a year, 10-13 million are illegal immigrants, another 7-10 million choose to be uninsured for periods of up to 3 months... -.- it's in the HC census report.

Just because you've been indoctrinated by a fuhrer yourself doesn't mean universal healthcare is anything like Hitler's Germany. I don't know if it's just me, but Obama didn't really say anything too crazy or presumptuous here. He just said sometimes we take too many tests and have too many ineffective procedures. The idea of limiting those things is no crazier than the system we currently have where the insurance company will deny you coverage in the name of profit for nonsense reasons. Some of you are wearing anti-Obama goggles or something. I don't even like Obama and I'm saying this.

Yeah, let's make sure everyone lives to be 110 years old so they can milk medical treatment for as long as possible thus raising medical expenses for all of the worthless younger people who aren't spending their lives lying in a bed grasping on to every last breath. I think what Obama is gently saying is that old people who do nothing but shit themselves are fucking worthless and maybe its time to make some important decisions to end their lives for the good of all mankind.

What is clear is that Obama doesn't know what he's talking about. Having the surgery is the last resort when medication doesn't fix it.
