Leander Paes- Radik Stepanek win Australian Open doubles

Leander Paes has made the nation proud by winning the men's doubles title at the Australian open. Paes partnering Radek Stepanek stunned world number 1 Mike and Bob Bryan in the final of the men's doubles.In a hard fought first set, Paes and Steapanek fought back to win the set 7-6.The Indo-Czech pair were in dominant form in the second set as they won it 6- to wrap up the title. @luckydips2008 Well said friend. I think we have talents like Leander Paes go unnoticed i where importance is given to cricket where individual people and their past records are hyped like anything. BCCI is not at all worried about the Indian Cricket teams pathetic performance in the last two over seas test series and its so sad they are running after the money market so called IPL which does not even contribute any thing good to cricket in our country. So pathetic.

why do you always need to mention the 'nation being proud' phrase..its just an individual whose won an individual sporting event..He was not even reprsntng.India .its leanders' individual achievement..& let him enjoy it..he deserves it.. .dont be a hypocrite and associate his accomplishments to that of the nation...because have you ever used the 'nation being embarrassed' phrase when india loses a cricket match..even though its a team event & those pool of 12 buffoons actually represent India.
