These days, I'm trying to add a new type of mission to the game, but I've also had time to improve, a little, how the pedestrians move: now, they don't make sudden changes in direction anymore, they turn gradually (if they want to make a 180º change in direction, for example, they don't do it instantly like before, something that looked very unnatural); also, they avoid objects like parked cars, benches... there are still many circumstances where they get stuck, so I'll have to work more on this area.

About the game: I'm programming it using C++ and DirectX 9.0c. My chosen physics engine is Bullet Physics. No sound for now.

Hey! I think your game is really fascinating!
I had a few questions, if you wouldn't mind answering:
1. The NPC's walking around, are they imported objects, or did you physically write out their appearance in C++?
2. If you did create the NPC's.. how hard was it to create a decent looking humanoid figure?
3. Can you recommened some knowledgable books for this kind of topic.. I am really interested in creating video games.

@mdhgg23 I bought the pedestrian models you can see in the video, but I can recommend you a book: 'Introducing Character Animation with Blender" 2nd ed. Blender is free software so it's a good place to start.
